I currently have WBFS Intelligent v6, WBFS Manager 3.1, and WiiBackupManager 3.5. What is the best tool for me to use to put in Wii games into my hard drive. I first used WBFS Manager 3.1 but it failed to format my External into WBFS format, but WBFS Intelligent did the job. WBFS Manager 3.1 didn't let me to put in my cISO games into the external but WBFS Intelligent did. I haven't used Wiibackupmanger 3.5 yet. Which is the best. I am currently using WBFS Intelligent v6, but some people say its bad I don't know why though.

If your drive is formated into Fat32. Then what file do the Wii games have to be? .WBFS, .ISO, or .cISO so i can put them in my drive?

.wbfs on \wbfs\game folder\

But Wii Backup Manager does it automatically (and scrubs it too)...

Anyway I recommend fat32, unless you want to store 4gb+ files for another thing. Stay away from WBFS format.

I can't format my Western Digital Elements Drive 120GB into Fat32. Its just NTFS and exFat with Windows Formatter. The drive is already NTFS. When I try to format to exFat it doesn't let me though.

absolute bullshit i've been using wbfs manager 3.0 (by alexDP not the other crap 1) for years on my wd mypassport 320gb never 1 problem with it.

I said WBFS format, not the app. I can't see any advantage to still use it nowadays (unless you have already a HDD full of games on this format).

I have an apple 2e that I used for years and it never gave me a problem lol Nostalgia can be fun sometimes

I used WBFS like everyone else regardless of its limitations and was grateful for having it. I'm still grateful for everyone who developed it and the early, though limited, aps like wbfs manager. I don't use the apple 2 anymore just like I don't use WBFS. They both still work and were both great in their day. They are also both obsolete. WBFS manager 3.0 was great in its day, too, but doesn't compare in functionality to Wii Backup Manager.

There is absolutely no practical reason to consider using WBFS if you are just starting out. FAT32 is the obvious choice as the best overall FS for the Wii. There's absolutely no BS about that

bumping a 3 year old thread?

WBFS is a partition and file format.
WiiBackupManager is a program.

WBFS can't "DO" things at all. it's two different things. It's like if you ask if "DOC" can do better than Microsoft Word ?
Use the program to make the game in the correct format.

If you meant "WBFS Manager" compared to "Wii Backup Manager", then Wii Backup Manager is more recent and have more options and features.

For GameCube yes if your HDD is not FAT32 formatted with 32KB or 64KB cluster size.
