Chaldron Your now on the first topic :)

Tried both W8 and Linux methods, the Windows method gives me the error "hosted netwok can't be started" when I change my wireless adapter MAC adress, but once i restore it to it's default the hosted network works again, and the Linux Method shows the comand properly, but my 3DS doesn't detect the spoofed NZone...
Have you used the new method or the old one? (Home_zone or wifi_zone)?

Idek where that is. Everything gets granted except the Setting Mac address and softap

The Mac address I'm ttyna use is 4e:53:50:4f:4f:46

He means the settings for the app that grants your superuser (mine is SuperSU). Check the settings for that app. I have it set to 'ask'.

This is for routers with DD-WRT firmware.

Well, lets move on to the title-based StreetPass!
MAC generated in a following way:
the first three octets are ASCII codes for "NSP" (4E:53:50)
the last three octets are CTR title code (i.e. CTR-XXX.-...)
[...]
I have two questions:
How can i add the official Nintendo World Store MACs to your script (since the MAC base is different)?
What do i have to change to run the script 24/7?

I found alot of people who got problems with this method.
EDIT: Remember how I got it workking by changing /data/misc/wifi/config ? It seems like only 2.3 devices have this file.

This script is not compatible with other public addresses, however it can be slightly modified to easily support another base addresses including not ASCII-printable.
To have it run say once per 30 minutes just change the starting of a cron line to
Code:
*/30 * * * *root...
If you're using only 16 base addresses do not run the script more than 4 times per hour, i.e. */15

For me it doesn't work with the Wifi-driver reload options checked. Also, you can only check 1 of them. The 2nd one does what the first one does and more. I'm using the same phone. Different firmware though (4.0.4).

I had the same Probs at the beginning, you have to check both fields.
Maybe restart?

Edit: and I have changed the Channel to Channel 9, maybe this has something to do with? due to it is a beta?

I tried doing the Ubuntu way, but it wouldn't find the script or something stupid. Plus I wasn't sure if I needed to change any values.

Was wondering if there is going to be a live CD like originally discussed, or a program which you can just run and it does everything.

Was thinking of going the router route, but was wondering if there are much restrictions to the amount of mac address you can have/use/whatever, and if the Ubuntu/Windows ways are less restrictive?
