hold start+select and power it on. make sure htere is nothing wrong with your charger, iirc shorting out the fuseto install flashme cuts the ds off form battery power so if your cord is messed up some how and randomly goes out with small movement then that will cause it to completely shut off.

Thanks for the help, I tried it and it didn't work, however when I pressed A+B+X+Y+Select+Start it booted straight onto the flashcard's menu where I selected noflashme, afterwards it went to 93%, then I SL1 shorted it some more and it flashed successfully, dude Its like I had an orgasm hehe, anyways thanks.

there's a flashme button combo that will load a minimal binary blob at first sectors on both slo1 and slot 2 cards.

tru doing a+x+b+y or select+start+a+x+b+y

Once you've past 1% the minimal bootcode has gone resident inside flash so I think you're ok

re-install flashmee, it's actually flashme that allows you do that-->. Do not uninstall it, if you face another brick you won't be able to recover your DS lite, unless you hotswap bios chip.

so what was your aim when installing flash me? not using ez flash iv for ds games, i assume.

Curiosity, to see what would happen, looks like my curiosity fucked me up :P
Still now I have brick protect so no worries about DS bricking.

Yeah, because of you now I want to get a second hand DSlite and flash flasme.

Damn you Yepi! DAMN YOU TO THE DEPTHS OF MICROSOFT!

You should've seen my face when it did and the DS wouldn't turn on.

I can imagine.

Never quite understood the benefits of having FlashMe installed outside of brick protection in the extremely rare event of downloading the DSBricker - it's odd that such a malicious application was practically purged from the web. Really hard to come across it these days.

curiosity killed the cat, right? still i hate that health warning screen but i really don't want to take a chance with flash me. wish there was another way to disable that.

You could always just mash the A button while looking away from the screen. Preferably while zoned-out or watching television/porn, whatever you prefer.
