It started when someone on Youtube made a comment about the new Adventure Time game not coming to Vita.

That might explain why the Vita versions of Tales of Hearts R, Tales of Innocence R, One Piece Pirate Warriors... are confirmed to be Japan-only.. forever (Namdai Europe is usually making the extra push for some of these games, like One Piece games)
Now I wish this was a joke.. I want God Eater 2 and Sol Trigger and the 3rd Birthday (and Summon Night, one can dream) already..
Are they still bitter from the PSP left to die in the West?
Most importantly, am I over-thinking this?

because Bamco is so amazing at localizing things that would sell great for them.

Of all the things Bamco MIGHT localize, a handheld Tales game is never one of them. Unfortunately they don't sell anywhere near in the billions like Bamco expects, therefore they stopped.
...and Tales of the Abyss is a moot point because its a pre-translated console port.
