Hacking [Noob] Hacking Xbox360. Help!

Hi, before anything i want to say that i'm entirely noob to this.

I bought my xbox360 around april 2012, its a redesign slim 250GB. I read a bunch of guides and my conclusions are that it is a corona V5 the rest i dont know and i dont know what to do.
I just want to hack it so that i can stop buying games. Please could anyone help me? Thanks!!!

Those didn't came out until mid 2013

It's a V1/3

You'll need to RGH it in order to obtain the DVD keys.
But if you don't care about XBLive then I suggest keeping it RGH'd
It's probably best if you pay someone to RGH it for you, judging you from stating that you're noobish ;p

But i care about XBLive, what can i do to mantain acess xblive? Do i have to open the console to RGH?

Yes, your console needs to be opened up in order to obtain your DVD key (I assume you want an Xkey cause of easy game access on HDD's)

Like I said, it's best to let someone RGH it for it to obtain the DVD keys and install the Xkey by your own or let someone do it ;]

Isn't there any way that i don´t lose the waranty? and isn´t there any other method to obtain my dvd key?

It of course depends on your DVD drive but judging from the MFR date of yours, I'm pretty sure it's one of the newer drives.

You could also trade your box with a box of your friends, if their willing to trade.
That's how a mate of mine got his Slim ;p

Where i live i won't be able to find someone to trade or to do RGH thing for me so i will have to be the one doing it.
So can't you point out to me one tutorial you think could work or give me some guidance please?
Because im tired of researching and i don't find anything clear maybe im doing something wrong

Well, you could go the RGH your own way but you'll need to fork out some cash (roughly 60/70 quid) for the NAND-X and glitchchip.
Along with an Xkey (80 quid?)

As for the software, go with JRunner and it'll tell you what you need to do as well as provide things to dump the NAND etc.
This guide should be quite good.
Just use that and work with JRunner.

Hello Dinoh!

I was wondering if i could toss in another question on this thread seeing that you are so helpful.

I have been lurking for quite some time and just came into the possession of a Phat Xbox 360 after having my old console banned a couple of years ago (good ole hitachi drive!). I am wanting to get back on the scene and after looking up the different options that are out there, i see that the xk3y might be my best bet but i see that your asking AoiKaze to RGH the system first to pull the drive key. Is it just because he is on a slim xbox that he has to rgh it to get the key or do all xk3y installs need this?

It's because he has a Slim 360, you can pull the drive keys off a Phat 360 much easier.

Late slims have their DVD keys moved to the NAND of the console.
So you'll need a RGH to extract them.
Early Slims and Phats don't have this (since the Xkey wasn't available then)

So if i understand this correctly, there is no need to use a probe or anything like that on my Benq/LiteOn drive. I just need to install the Xk3y and go from there?

Sorry for the trouble but i havent found much info on this part of the process.

LiteOn drives require a probe. BenQ do not. Just hook up the disc drive to your PC, and follow the jungleflasher tutorial. All you need is to dump the drive keys, and throw them on a Micro SD card that goes into the X360Key. Then you're set.

Install The Xkey To The System
Connect Formatted Drive To Xkey Controller

I hear that updating the Xk3y is one of its biggest benefits due to being able to do so using the drive but is there another option i should go with instead?

Is there any suggestions or tips you can offer before I move forward?

Updating the Xkey is simple.
Plonk the update on a USB thumbdrive and stick it in the remote.
Wait till the remote says Update complete and reboot your 360 ;]
