Hacking Official firmware for R4 Dual Core 2013 released

The update has not yet been published on the offical site (r4isdhc.com), but some webshops already have the update files and the new kernel. My webshop from Spain has published them on its site (http://www.flashcard.es/Software-en-Handleidingen-sp-6.html), it's in Dutch (you can use Google Translator) but you can find it below the picture of the R4 Dual Core 2013. I have uploaded it on my Dropbox, so you can download it from there:

ATTENTION: Don't turn your 3DS off or pull the R4 Dual Core 2013 out when updating, you'll brick your card and it will be useless.

Note: Your card has to be like the one on the picture below, otherwise you won't be able to update.

EDIT: The kernel has been uploaded to the official site: http://www.r4isdhc.com/download_white_new2013/. This makes the update official.

Are you sure? I just feel so paranoid about this one since I bricked my 2013 edition.

but this one hasnt been confirmed working by other members where the chinese one has

im not calling this a fake tho

Fuck that R4 clone maker! Based on what I saw on their website, they made a lot of models and the support for each model is good for over a year! But I have no choice since this is the cheapest 3DS-compatible (for later firmware versions) flashcart available in my area.

Okay guys... I've just fearlessly updated my flashcart and I'm sure this video that I made is a solid proof that this thing works with the latest 3DS firmware.

Couldn't agree more. I bought a 2013 Dual Core R4 sdhc and it bricked on me after trying to run ysmenu on it. Now my 3DS and my DS lite wont even recognize the cart. So I just decided to get a SuperCard DStwo and my life has been way much better since. Just get a Supercard, it's well worth the price.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That's the same thing happened on my first one! I tried to install YSMenu because some games are unable to run on this shit. I've just got that shit for free so I lose nothing when it was bricked.

I didn't believe it when it happened because it seemed like such a stupid thing to brick an R4 cart. You can even try to upgrade the firmware using another cart! This cart is awful, it can't even run animal crossing: wild world.
