I installed the game; it loads fine, but it won't go past the loading screen. I tried it in several loaders and I got the same result. It loads in Dolphin, albeit with it starting out at 50% speed and random sound cutouts, but at least it'll load. Heeeellllpppp... I love this game...

Please post a syscheck so be can help you better

I'm not sure where to run a system check. My PC is able to run all of my Wii games reasonably well, though. I do have issues with my PC's speed because I have some programs that I've never been able to get fixed: it doesn't affect my games, though.

You have the homebrew channel don't you?

Google for Wii syscheck or download the program using Modmii.

If you know what cIOS you have installed, these steps are not needed offcourse.

thank yourself lucky the controls in this are horrendous and trust me it's nothing like the ps2 games

It's not the best game in the series by far, but (for a waggle controll game) I found it playable.
I found the twist conrolls when you are in the saucer/big willy supprisingly workable.

It's certainly more polished than the PS3 version (which I knew was terrible before buying, but I just really like the series for some reason). The original and sequel on Xbox were the best of the series IMO (bit better gfx than ps2).

I've had no issues playing it with d2x V8 final and the latest CFG launcher (no special game-specific settings to make it work).
PAL copy (on PAL console), WBFS file on HDD is about 3920 MB.

I've got cIOS 249 and one of the d2x; I pretty sure it's 6 though. And I'll download the syscheck with ModMii; didn't put it on my SD card for some reason...

Hmm.
Are you loading the game from a disc copy or a HDD?
It really smells like a bad rip.
I suggest re-ripping the game.

I'm loading it from my HDD. I haven't been doing much with this game lately, but I'll load the iso and see if that'll run. Or I'll try a re-conversion, like you said...

Edit:

Okay, I re-ripped it to my usb device; folder and all. Not sure what being in a folder has to do with it not loading; the rest of my games aren't in folders and they run fine. Ramble over. I set the Video option to the game default and turned on the clear patch option. It went to the first loading screen and took about 2 seconds to load. This game is so zany; I should pick up the original for the PS2 and play it.
