Gaming Mii Plaza Crashing After Update

So I updated Mii Plaza, I go to the shop to get one of the new games. The screen freezes and crashes, then I start again and get a notification of a Mario Pixel hat and I get an animation of it coming down on my head, half way through it freezes and crashes and I'm stuck on it.

Well, I got my pixel hat, but the game wont stop freezing when I try to talk to the bunny and buy a new game.

C'mon Nintendo, you wouldn't rush a buggy update out to stop the Gateway would you?

Other than the "big" Wii U update, I usually wait to do any updating because of things like this. If I don't hear reports of problems, then I likely update within the two days afterwards. But, if I hear reports, then I wait until something is done about it.

Most likely, when they send the update for the Mii Plaza to NA, they'll send a patch for EU and JP.

To (maybe) answer your questions, apparently what's happened is that only particular PAL countries have the games available to them.
I have tried changing console region from Australia to United Kingdom, which in all honesty should work after you go into eShop and re-verify the TOS before going back to Plaza. Yet it doesn't...
I may call Nintendo AU sometime during the week if I don't see any improvement.

I can assure you that isn't the case, a friend of mine also from my country had the same issue.

I didn't mean your suggestion, I meant the idea of only some countries working, which isn't valid.

Apparently this is affecting mainly all PAL users that have over 200 people in their Mii plaza. It crashes in two places for me. Either when I go to the shop, and select one of the new games to buy. You see the rabbit and it crashes immediately, or if I try to scroll through the people in my Mii Plaza, it will crash after going through a few people.

Nintendo are aware, and should be working on a fix.

Heck I have exactly 1800 in my Plaza, so I'm what, 9x over the crash threshold?
I've heard people with few miis have the problem too though. :\

Except, 200 being the magical number, is unsubstantiated. My Mii Plaza has only 80 inhabitants, and I'm getting the crashes.
