I downloaded a scrubbed SSBB iso and put it on my WFBS formatted USB. I then put the USB in both ports several times hoping that a USB Loader would detect but, no dice. Can anyone help me out here? I am at a loss at what to do at this point. I'll give any information possible if you ask, please just help me.

I'd like to point out that the iso file was successfully added to the USB via WFBS Manager 3.0, but I was never able to extract the actual iso due to this message. http://i.imgur.com/GuCPMKj.png

This is the USB I'm using. It's 8b. http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Cruzer-Flash-Drive-SDCZ36-008G-B35/dp/B001XURP86/ref=pd_sim_e_5

Thank you for any help at all.

vpner0, all loaders use a cIOS, you might wanna try reinstalling or updating yours.
the cIOS has the HDD drivers so it is very important that you have the correct one.

Ofcourse it is always possible that your hdd or enclosure is incompatible with the wii..
There is a list of hdd's that are working but i am not sure if it is very up to date or where it is exactly on GBAtemp, but i am too lazy to search for it now.. :D

Hmm, ok, did you check if the WBFS partition is first, primary and active? If i remember correctly it should at least be the 1st partition AND set to primary.
Also, it might be worthwhile to change to FAT32 or NTFS...FAT32 has the benefit also that you can run homebrew on it, and if you format it correctly, you can play GC games from it or XNEEK..

It was definitely primary, but I don't know if it was first and active. How can I check for those? Also, it was FAT32.

Well it was FAT32 prior to me changing to WFBS via WFBS Manager. Just downloaded a fresh iso, maybe that was the problem. Wish me luck.

Maybe i missed it , but what cIOS version are you using?
Some work better with a particular hdd then others.

You can also try going back to FAT32 as i suggested, WBFS support should still be there the most used usb loaders, but i hear/read about a lot of problems lately with WBFS formatted hdd's. I also suggest switching from WBFS manager to Wii Backup Manager, especially when/if you switch back to FAT32, WBFS manager is old and has not been updated since a long time.

I partitioned the USB as FAT32 and the Wii still didn't detect it. Dumb question but how can I find out which cIOS I'm using?

in the mean time, i strongly suggest you use WiiBackupManager to transfer your games, it wil automatically convert and/or copy them to the right place.

EDIT: wow that was quick..

I See you are using d2x v6 in IOS slot 249, you can try updating that to v8 or higher...
Because most USB loaders use 249 as standard startup cIOS.
V6 is a bit old now..that might be the cause the games are not detected...
If v8 does not work, v10 or v10alt might do the trick...from here it is a bit trial and error i am afraid.

Tried em all just now. No luck. I appreciate the help, but it seems we've hit a wall with this.
