(Proof of Concept) Gamecube games in vWii on Wii U

First of all no this isn't DIOS MIOS because that would never work.
This is written pretty much from scratch and there are still many issues especially with the sound that's why I overlayed a nice music track.
There is obviously no way to use a GC controller on a Wii U and getting wiimotes/CC to work is way too complicated, so what I am using here is a PS3 controller connected via USB.

We know now The WiiU in vWii can Run GameCube Games From a Sdcard!!!

Big Thanks to crediar for giving US the Video here at WiiUHax.com

Mega Man 10? Did he mod the wad to forward to the SD card? And how do you use a PS3 controller?

These news are indeed HUGE!

I have so many questions from this video that it is pointless.
The only question that bogles my mind is the whole "Proof of Concept" status. What this actually means?
I certainly hope that it does not means " Hey guys, look what I achieved. But the whole concept is far too complicated so I will not bother any farther! "

Please Crediar, your work is amazing!Don't let it go....

Apparently he has made a virtual machine like Devolution... so the graphics and sound errors (No ARAM, not downclocking the CPU) and that is why he can use USB controls like the PS3 because it has more memory available now for implementing things like that.

I guess it's proof of concept because he has much work to do to support graphics and sound effects. An amazing job he has done.

Nice work. Looks like Devolution could have some competition. It would be awesome if this program could support GameCube controllers connected to the Wii U with a USB adapter.

EDIT: I'm not real knowledgeable on hacking and programming, but I wonder if Crediar is taking advantage of the information that fail0verflow released earlier this month...

Awesome. 3 core support,? What makes anyone think an exploit is needed? vWii likely has more than enough to run GC games. The odd stuff? Choose user then right to vWii mode. Then mega man 10 and Zelda comes on? Must be cuts in the video. Sneek seems useful, not public though that I know of. Other tools for vWii not public either. Awesome skills, no doubt about that. Thanks for sharing bubba.
Oh, part about "not releases" was in no way flaim bait. When I see awesome programs I wish for release is all I meant:-)

This is awesome if it is true. As someone that owns a lot of Gamecube games I really hope that this project will eventually support everything that Devo does (virtual memory cards, widescreen for games that don't natively support it, keyboard and BBA emulation, etc.) in addition to being able to supporting the Wii U Pro Controller and Classic Controller (Pro). Having an option to output pillarboxed 4:3 would be great too. It would make my Wii U that much more capable, which is something I'm obviously really looking forward to.

Why wouldn't it be true?

Looks legit to me.
