Hardware Is the Wii U Gamepad's volume too low (with headphones)?

I find it to be really low using Apple earbuds, even with max volume. Anyone else agree?

I've never found it too quiet. But then I don't use earbuds, Apple's or otherwise. See if you can borrow some headphones (not earbuds) from a friend or relative and see if you have the same problem.

Try a different headphone/IEM. Earbuds aren't that great, especially the Apple ones.



Apple ear buds may suck, but ear buds in general not so much, i have some with sort of a silicone gasket that blocks out outside noise and puts out about 19 ohms...only costs about $20

i just picked them up at Wal-mart

always check the specs of the ear buds/headphones on the back before you buy them

Buy a portable amplifier, I use a fiio e11 which makes everything sound amazing, really nice bass boost and battery time.

Paired up with my 80ohms studio phones it's incredible what kind of sound you can out of the 3DS.
