Nintendo to have Playable E3 games at local Best Buys

Nintendo plans on having E3-quality game demos available at local Best Buys.

Here's a snippit from Best Buy's website...

Only at Best Buy, try out the hottest Wii U games. Join in the fun and score some Luigi loot and hot offers on Wii U.

To play, visit a participating store:
• June 12 from 4 p.m.–8 p.m.
• June 15 from 1 p.m.–5 p.m.

I swear I had read this somewhere before and as I am not likely to grace game news sites I had to have been here. Still I can not find an immediately obvious thread on the matter so I will leave it up for the time being.

More on topic an interesting move and one that could do OK for them. I wonder if they will extend such a thing to other parts of the world.

Nintendo announced it (Reggie) in the last Nintendo Direct. You probably read some news article about that back then.

I couldn't care less. Best Buy US announced back in October they are going back to electrics, televisions and stereo equipment only by mid 2015. Video games and videos will no longer be sold. So this move with Nintendo is very strange.

The ones in California are stupid. I've never even heard of those locations except for one.
