Hardware What android system should i buy for my tv?

Surprisingly awesome for something so new are android mini computers with hdmi out that I can plug into my TV.

Anyone have any suggestions what I should get?

Ouya is right around the corner, but new tronsmart quad core, ddr3 ram android sticks seem pretty powerful, with some comment with android 4.2.2


What would you get for $80-$120?

Ouya looks underpowered but comes with a dedicated controller, android sticks are powerful, but I'd likely have to buy a powered USB him and maybe some accessories. Or should I just ignore this tech for now and get a note 2?

Please forgive my spelling errors, I wrote that on a touch screen and was not aware of my errors. I'd go back and edit it, but frankly it's too much of a pain in the ass to go back and edit things on a touch screen and I get the feeling you know what I meant anyways.

Does it have to be android? Doing that would specifically exclude things like the raspberry pi and beagleboards the former of which has some very interesting things for it and the latter of which has been around for some time.

Isn't the Nvidia GPU/GPU more powerful than Gamestick's AmLogic's AML8726-MX?

Isn't the Ouya's controller more ergonomic and comes with a track-pad of sorts? Not that I'm interested in the Ouya for gaming, but more of a Netflix+Youtube+Dolphin Browser for the living room, and in my experience with Android devices, stronger hardware makes for a smoother performance.

Also... WTF is up with keeping the gamestick itself inside a brick-shaped, child's toy-looking of a controller? Thats not only silly, but I think they overestimated gamer's desire to travel with theirTV-based android systems. I plan on keeping this think in my TV indefinately, why would I need a gaming hole in my controller?

You are confusing us (perhaps confused yourself?). Perfect Android solution does not exist yet. 80-120$? You cannot get a Note 2 for that price.
My opinion (Which is probably crap and why i did not put it up in the first place) is skip Android and get a used PC for 80-120$ you will have something capable of doing everything you want. If you can couple windows 8 and a Wiimote you can have a very nice setup. And if you really need android theres bluestacks for windows.
