Hardware where to get 3DS XL replacement stylus?

I can't believe the system only comes with one stylus in the first place but mine is a little beat up and I can not seem to find a replacement.

I can find plenty of stylus but nothing that fits perfectly. The Wii U stylus is pretty damn close but the shape of the end is square instead of rounded which makes a really annoying nub when holding the system. I have checked several stores and can't find anything that is specific to the 3DS XL. When I look online I only find stylus that several DS models listed as compatible. The DSiXL stylus also does not seem to fit flush.

I want something that I can put in so that when I hold the console I can not feel that the stylus is there, something that fits flush just like the one that came with the system. When playing a game that doesn't need the stylus it is super annoying to have the thing jabbing my hand.

Well ebay was the solution after a bit more searching. I had not checked there and only saw all the confusing listings on amazon and gamestop and other sites. The ebay ones look fine, I am ordering these.

2)- When it says that it's compatible to 3ds XL, and nothing more, (like in the first one on the list) it's made for the 3ds Xl ..obviously. And it's easy to chose the right one ...just look to the pics.

3)- 3rd party stylus are fine ...they are just plastic molds o.o ...there are not that much to go wrong in the making, and they are not expensive, just buy more than one


...but I still have a doubt if you really can't find stuff or is just lazy .....

It has actually been awhile since I looked online and there does seem to be more options showing up now then the last time I checked. I also did not check ebay previouslly. I have been checking stores most recently.

Obviously you have reading comprehension problems as well since most of your links are crap except for the overpriced Nintendo one (If you actually read what I was looking for you would know this). You will see I posted a link to a much better deal. I ordered some Wii U stylus back in April from Amazon and could not find 3DS XL ones at that point, the pictures on the Wii U ones look exactly the same as the pictures for the Wii U ones, but they do not fit the same. Most listings I saw at the time said compatible and I have had many stylus that do not fit the 3DS XL properly. WHen I have asked for them at gamestop they gave me Wii U stylus. Thanks to those who were helpful and everyone else who was a jerk as well.

Flamer. If my stylus don't fit right when I get them I may come back here and call you names to make myself feel better.

Its 4 dollars bud. If you want something official you are going to have to shell out money for it. That said 4 bucks is not a lot of money. It will fit exactly like the original since it is the original one. You aren't going to find a 1 dollar 24pack of them that have the same build quality and ergonomics.

I have gone in a gamestore. They did not have them, they gave me Wii U ones instead.

I have googled them and have explained my results....many listings for compatible ones that in my experience do not fit correctly.

Clearly I had a reading comprehension problem looking at the original ebay listing (that I looked at for 5 seconds and was never much interested in because of price), but others in this thread have that problem too in my view.

I don't have an issue finding a stylus that fits, but have had problems finding ones that fit perfectly. The goal of the thread is for someone to provide a link to ones they know fit perfectly, I wanted something that someone could vouch for. If the ones I ordered don't fit I will order official ones most likely.

There are so many models of DS (and the Wii U style) with slightly different stylus that they don't carry them all and most packs are novelty ones or claim they are compatible with everything.

I think you didn't read the posts that well if you think that's why people were complaining... ...the problem is the inability of reading simple answers, and re-asking things already answered (or plain laziness, so to speak).

But you are right, Reprimanding never makes things look pretty. ..but pacience has limits ....hope he get his stylus though, nothing against the guy

I recommend that you contact the seller at ebay before buying ...ask anything you think is important to be sure about the product. They usually respond appropriately (and if they don't, better to find another seller)
Since you don´t use ebay, you need to select the option to contact seller and do this
