I don't think OP mentioned self made backups.
+ everybody knows backups are just pirated games ;]
I've played about 4 "backups" and installed about 10 already without playing them yet. I even played one of them online. So I'll abgx360 them all, but what are possible consequences of the games I've played and installed already?
Getting a flag (failed AP2.5/empty topology etc)

I also "backup" all of my games. The Slim Xbox 360 disc drive makes a lot of noise and emulating it with a disc drive makes it just about silent in comparison. But I'll definitely abgx360 all my backups from now on. I've actually let a few non patched discs out into the wild, for friends who also want to preserve their original discs and use backups instead. Telling them that I need it back would feel kinda like calling old partners to tell them you have been diagnosed with an STI.

I think you did, but I guess I thought it only applied to burning the backups, and that xkey was not necessary. Of course now I see that that is a mistaken belief.

Is there a GBATemp or DinohScene recommended abgx360 guide? Hopefully the backups I've already installed were already patched (I get whacked on mescaline whenever I rip my backups, so I'm never sure what goes on during the process), but I'll run everything through abgx360 with recommended settings. We should probably sticky a thread with links to the best guide for it, if stealth patching is an important process that is considered mandatory for full security.
So mine is coming in a few days time. I actually own over a 100 original retail discs. If im ripping these to a hard drive, is it wise then to run all of them through this abgx or because they are mine and I know they are proper retail games, do i not need to for these? Only for downloaded ones?
Yes.
Always run them through ABGX.
Not only to check if the dump is correct, but also to fix the topology data etc etc.
Even if it's your own dump, ALWAYS run it through ABGX.
