You're saying it like Nintendo can't do Gamecube emulation on the Wii U.
Remember that they did perfect N64 VC on the Wii, even with the difference in architecture and the underpowered hardware of the Wii. As far as I know, the Wii U's architecture is PowerPC, the same as the Wii's(which is how Wii ackwards compatibility works) and the Gamecube's, which means that Gamecube VC on the Wii U is very likely to happen.

If you have a non-GC compatible Wii and installed cMIOS I'm sure that it'll boot up GC games.

I wouldn't mind N64 vc, but I actually have majority of the games that they would release anyways, not to mention that the ones I don't have and want, like Mischief Makers, Jet Force Gemini (waiting for that in the mail), they won't put up.

Devolution is proof that it's totally possible. The PowerPC processor has a little feature called "Hardware Virtualization" that makes redirecting the controls and saves nice and easy ... as long as Nintendo put any effort into it.

tueidj already has gamecube games running on Wii U with Devolution. Of course without controlls due to missing GC controller ports. But this shows that Nintendo could easily make GC games running on Wii U.
