3 Emiratis kicked out of Saudi festival and deported for being "too handsome"

In its report, Elaph said several religious cops deployed through the festival rushed into the UAE pavilion on Sunday and escorted three Emirati delegates out.

“A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission members feared female visitors could fall for them,” the news service said, adding that the festival’s management took urgent measures to deport the three to Abu Dhabi.

Sorry to disappoint you but this is not true.

1- I'm from Saudi Arabia.
2- I know several people (one of them is a relative) and they all say this is not true. The thing about the religious police trying to escort the female singer out is true though. (But they couldn't, instead the religious police were escorted out by the military for disturbing the festival, ha!)
3- The only news site reporting this is emirates247.com and they have this weird "my country is better than yours" attitude.

As a Saudi myself, this festival is the very celebration of slavery we and everyone with a brain would be against.
Many of pure blood-middle region citizens look practically the same due to consanguinity, they're full of hair and are constantly given money for being kiss-asses.
Other forms of Arabs (even mixed blood Saudis) are closest thing to slaves for the Royal Family and this is a celebration dedicated to the "hard work" they're doing to keep is under their influence.

As for the deported Emiratis, some people might have realized they looked fugly in comparison and had to take action
