Hahaha, thanks, of course I don't! It's nice to give this wonderful feature some support, it deserves it!
You'd have to replace consoleDemoInit calls with consoleInit calls (see here), and copy your font to the sub graphics engine. Maybe use the implementation of consoleDemoInit() in libnds as a guideline? I've never used a font other than the default myself.
Nice When I make a new stable release I'll link to these in the first post, if you don't mind.
Now that would be great! I just edited my post with other model as well, and one of my favorites to boot.I got A LOT of gameboy images, so I'll soon edit this post with new borders, to add to the Sizednochi's ones...
Some are official gameboys, but most of them are custom paintings, and artistic creations ( there's also one made of wool )
why it cant auto save to sram? That's odd, I was able to generate a Zelda sav file
I have a .pcf font from wood kernel, how to add the font to console.h?You'd have to replace consoleDemoInit calls with consoleInit calls (see here), and copy your font to the sub graphics engine. Maybe we will get auto save soon. This project has been delivering on every other requestwhy it cant auto save to sram?
Now i know i must press X to save game to sram.
Turn off SGB mode and it will work fine. I've noticed this bug with a few games in SGB mode like Castlevania legends. If you want the SGB borders start the game in SBG mode then turn off SGB mode and reset using the GBC BIOS to get the color palate. Interestingly when you restart the game the SGB border will still be there as long as you have kept SGB borders onI run Nettou King of Fighters '96 (Japan), but when i press any keys there is nothing
I cant control the game
Are there any S/GB/C games that use the save area as temporary storage? I know this is used in some GBA stuff which is why auto-saving wasn't simple to do there.Maybe we will get auto save soon. This project has been delivering on every other request
By auto SAV I was thinking something that would work with the clock in the DS and do a kind of real time save at timed intervals like every twenty minutesAre there any S/GB/C games that use the save area as temporary storage? In the Pokemon Trading Card 2 game, for example, if I reset the game (not the DS) during a battle, I can start the game again starting from my previous save point, or in the same spot where I was in the battle when I last reseted...By auto SAV I was thinking something that would work with the clock in the DS and do a kind of real time save at timed intervals like every twenty minutes
Yes, Wario Land 3 stores its level layout in sram. It does make sense, since you can save within a level, and tiles can be modified by Wario's actions. I was experimenting with autosaving a while back, I couldn't get it working very nicely. Every time I took a few steps in Wario Land 3 it froze for a second. I don't remember exactly how I implemented it but I had to fopen() and fclose() the file every time it autosaved for the save to be written properly. Are there any S/GB/C games that use the save area as temporary storage? I... have no idea. What game are you trying? Are you using the official v0.3 or the latest build dropbox link?
