Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem confirmed for US/EU release (according to the source's translation). I must contain my excitement. (It was in US Direct but people were still worried.)

edit: Also, my heart skipped a beat seeing half of the topic title from the index. I thought it was available suddenly on 3DS...

At this time, it is only possible to create a Nintendo Network ID on a Wii U console. (This is different from a Club Nintendo account ID.)

Damnit.... Now I really want a Wii-U even more :( Won't have the money for..... no dang clue how long.

hello people!! heey, one question, I don´t buy yet my Wii U, I'm planning on buy it the next month with RE: Revelations, but, can I make an account in Miiverse without a Wii U Console, downloading the app in Android or in de PC??

you need the Wii U to make a Nintendo Network ID first

It already has a proper online in their console.

It's most like they are doing more with the 3ds version vs the phones.

We're still using friend codes. Pre-Nintendo Network this was acceptable, but now that the online actually has the methods in place to use an account based system and there's no excuse; I don't know why something they announced last year would take till the end of this year to finish. They have flagship titles that have shorter spans! It better be worth it that's all I know.

Surprised no one figure it out. This means 3DS will get a Nintendo network ID, to login into Miiverse.

Oh the web version is beta, not all features are available yet.

Which means you will need a Nintendo platform (Wii U, or 3DS) to be able to participate on Miiverse. Well played, Nintendo. Exclusivity ticket.

I sold my Wii U and it says my Nintendo Network Account has been deleted. If I buy another Wii U in a distant future will I be able to get that account back?

Why the end of the fucking year for 3DS?! Come on Nintendo, where do your priorities lay if your making iPhone apps before putting proper online in your console!
The 3DS one will need to be optimised for the 3DS and they would need to work on creating 3DS games' communities and other online tweaks. The phone version is just like a dumbed down port of the Wii U one, which was probably not that hard as the Miiverse is HTML based. Not to mention, the need for them to integrate NNIDs, (probably) unify accounts, etc.

tl;dr 3DS version needs more tweaking and programming.

Let's hope they truly use NNIDs instead of the friendcodes, unify the accounts and (probably will never happen) allow several users.
