Hey, just a quick question, i'm going to use USB Loader GX to play wiiware from my emuNAND because I've been using uLoader for the longest time, and uLoader is so outdated and lacking in compatibility that this change has been long coming.

However, I have a question. I have more wiiware titles than the wii menu has icons for (12 a page and only 4 pages). Now if I never straight up accessed my emuNAND, then I wouldn't have this question, but I do go to my emuNAND for both accessing Rock Band/Guitar Hero games with all their DLC and to play the 2 working games on Quadforce.

So my concern/question is this. If I use showmiiwads to batch install my wiiware to my emuNAND. Will my emuNAND load properly when i need to enter it, or will it freeze since I've put in more channels than the Wii believes can exist?

I hope that question makes sense, I think I worded it properly but it is kind of a weird line of thinking if you're not the most knowledgable on the subject.

Also, it should be obvious, but it is worth noting that uLoader had a different directory for its own emuNAND, I know it kind of handled everything a little differently than a straight up emuNAND, so if you were going to ask, no it hasn't been an issue now, as the wiiware was locaed in a different emuNAND that was only accessed through uLoader.

Thanks for any help!

I think the worst that could happen to you is that it might take a long time starting up. If you have more than the 47 channel limit the system menu just won't show the extra ones. I'm not sure how it decides WHICH ones to show, though. You shouldn't have problems with freezing, though.

Cool thanks, I appreciate your timely response. I imagine it just shows the games in the order they were installed. So I should make it a goal to fill up my remaining emuNAND channels with my favorite wiiware titles before installing the others that exceed the limit.

When you access emuNAND through USB Loader GX it won't matter if you have more channels installed than available slots.

If you boot directly into your emuNAND (via UNEEK for example) then make sure you install the WAD for Snort48+ (that scooby recommended.) before batch installing. Also it's important to note that Snort48+ is meant to be installed to your emuNAND and not your real nand.

I remember experiencing freezing when I first started using UNEEK with more than the allowable 48 channels installed to the emuNAND. At the time I was using ShowMiiWads to batch install to the emuNAND. I'm not sure if it was the fact that I didn't have Snort48+ installed prior to batch installing all my wads, or if UNEEK doesn't like the way ShowMiiWads batch installs the wads. I want to believe it's because I didn't have Snort48+ installed.

What I do now when I want to batch install wads to the emuNAND is..
1.) I make sure to install Snort48+ to the emuNAND first.
2.) Boot into the emuNAND via UNEEK, then start up MMM. (Multi-Mod Manager)
3.) Batch install all my wads using MMM while inside the emuNAND.

I haven't had any problems since.

I would assume that as long as you have Snort48+ installed to the emuNAND, that you could batch install wads using ShowMiiWads at any time after that without experiencing any problems.
