Isn't something that small just considered a large touch-phone and not a tablet?
are all your posts this useless?

TC, what is your budget? other than dual core is there anything else you are looking for? Do you care for preowned/refurbs?

7 is really too large for you?

Usually depends on my mood.
...but I was actually hoping the post would result in some more clarification since OP mentions both phones and tablets but seems to be leaning more toward tablets. You're right, though, maybe I should have asked a direct question instead of hoping for a response to a statement.

@OP question: Are you looking ONLY for something with no 3G or would you be willing to consider a large phone instead ... within a certain price range?

Is there any reason you need such a specific size?

Chocolina wants something with a few more inches.

I can fit my 7 inch in my pocket just fine, but every time I crouch down at work, it turns off, no matter where I stick the power button.

And I have a "tech" pocket capable of fitting a 6 inch, but my current 6 inch is in an unusable state and I can't find any guide or anyone to help me out, so I'm looking for a new 6 inch tablet.

I thought about a phone like the note 2, but all I need it for is music, and why even buy a note 2 when a note 3 could just be 4-5 months away?

...and that attitude toward technology means you'll never buy anything! Don't worry about what might be available tomorrow if what's around today can already do everything you need it for

Don't you think even 6 inches is overkill just for music?!!
Some games too...

Rayman...

And 6 inches was perf when I had it, but do to a tiny mistake on my part, and no one being willing to help me out or have a suggestion, I'm stuck with a 6 inch tablet that can't save it's own settings or new programs. So obviously the answer is to just buy another.

Getting the best as soon as its available, means you'll have the best for awhile...

Besides... get 4 cores now, or wait a little and get 8. I might not even get a note, but next-gen CPU's are just around the corner.

I know that will be outdated in a little less than a year, but by the time I can even afford an unsubsidized Note 2, the note 3 would already be 2 months away, or hell, the S4 would already be out...

BUT REALLY, I'm waiting oin Android 5 before I lay $600-$800 on an unlocked phone.
