Jak and Daxter Trilogy coming to the PSVita this June

Jak and Daxter Trilogy, a collection of HD re-releases of Jak and Daxter games (Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3) for the PS3 was released February 2012 and was generally well-received - now the title is getting the PSVita treatment. The collection will be released this June for €29.99/$29.99.

Yep, sounds like a good dealio for that price. I've never played any of the three titles included so it's a treat for me.

I own all three for the PS2 but I may just buy it again on the Vita. Never beat the second or third games actually, got decently far but never finished them. First game is omigod amazing though and one of the most awesome 3D platformers ever.

This is both a bad and good thing. I kind of wanted this to happen so I could play collections on the go. Jak and Daxter never really felt like it belonged on a console to me so fitting it on a handheld seemed like the thing to do. It being the first might also pave the pathway for other portable collections. I would certainly like having infamous in my pocket or being able to play other PS2 classics I missed out on with my vita.

The downside comes in when you have to think about how well the games translate to portablility, the 3rd (2nd?) re-release of the games, and that this might actually get what I mentioned above to happen, more re-released collection packs instead of brand new games. Still now I get to wait for ratchet and clank collection on vita.

Also yeah I'm gonna jump the gun and assume PS3 games will be ported over as well. Since sony claims it is like a big console in your hand. I believe their words were "A true console experience"

This is a phenomenal series. At this price, if you haven't already played through the games (or even if you have) and own a Vita, you owe it to yourself to pick up this bundle.

jak and daxter is a good series from what I have heard, but I'll instabuy a ratchet and clank collection, don't know if jak is like banjo kazooie, but ratchet definitely is sorta banjoish.
