This game looks a lot maturer then the previous Tales which I'm very glad about. Enough about friendship and equality. Hopefully, the trailer is a good representation of the actual game. Though voice acting is very hit and miss for me. The girl in red's voice sounded awfully man-ish.

Honestly, I haven't even started Tales of Graces F. Well I did, but I got bored. Been meaning to go back to it. But the story doesn't really interest me that much, and the combat is different from Vesperia. Though to be honest, Vesperia was the first Tales game I played. Hopefully Xillia will be more like it.

In addition to the actual game, you will get “The Art of Tales of Xillia,” the game’s soundtrack, and perhaps the most awesome piece in the entire package: a statue of Milla, the game’s female protagonist.

I'll stick with the standard personally, as it'll already be a $50-60 game, and nothing here screams must have imo.

For big Tales of fans/figure collectors this seems like a must have. Limited editions are always nice if you have cash to throw around.

After seeing this I googled for a limited edition, and was nearly floored when I actually found one being released.
Will be pre-ordering that for sure. Take my $100 Bamco, just take it.

Xillia WILL be more like it. Graces was a take on the old style of combat that Team Destiny employed. AKA the 2D combat. Incorporated it quite well I'd say.
But yeah, Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia and Xillia are all in the Team Symphonia style (AKA, 3D), though I think both studios merged ages ago.

As for the special edition they could include a picture of a thumbs up and charge me an extra $50 and I'd probably still pay it.

Not huge on figures, but hell I'll proudly find a spot for that somewhere.

If I wasn't planning a super expensive trip this summer, I'd probably have bought the limited edition and kept it sealed, and just bought the standard to play. (did something similar for Graces F, I play my standard NA copy, and have the pre-order EU released sealed on my shelf).
