Grand National Today!

So the biggest horse racing event is today at 4.15!
Have any of my fellow Brits placed bets?

I have £2.50 each way on Threefortea
£2.50 each way on On His Own
and £5 each way on Always Waining!
All fixed odds about a week ago.

I'm not a gambling man but have won on the national and the gold cup the last 3 years in a row!
I got my son to point to any one of the 40 horses and he picked Quel Esprit at 60-1 lol I put 50p E/W.

Well a few years back everyone in our family put £1 on a random horse we liked. The horse that won had odds of 100/1 and my dad had placed his bet on it. Had a nice chinese that night and put the rest towards a new TV.

I think if you tot up all the deaths in this century (i.e 13 years) it averages out at 3 deaths per year.

We had a few bets going, (including teaforthree) but not each-way - didn't win anything. Only spent £6 and it was some fun so doesn't really matter.
