Even though the game was not well received on other platforms there was some hope this version would be better. Regardless it's not a good sign to see games getting cancelled for this platform.

Nintendo has nothing to do with it unless the game is developed/published by them - they have very little "say" these days and the mountains of Shovelware for the Wii/DS are a testament of that.

I wanted a good shooter that used the controller and it was supposed to be much better than the garbage those "bonerlands" peeps made

It was the same exact game from the same exact developers - maybe it'd have a few extra months in the oven, but A:CM's pretty much a fundamentally flawed game. It would take a lot more than that to even hope to get things right.

Trust me... sometimes, dead is better.

We'll get better games on the Wii U in the future anyway. I didn't hold my breath for those dead Megaman projects, I'm not holding my breath for A:CM either. We're about two months away from a Smash Bros. demo, and that's pretty damn exciting for now.

The game itsel flopped, theres no point releasing it i they kno its going to fail, cutting their losses I guess.

Seriously people? I'm gonna have to repeat what others have said. One of the worst games of the year which has got nothing but bad press is getting cancelled is a bad sign for the Wii U? This is nothing but a smart decision from Sega and it would be the smart thing to do for any system it had not released on. If this happened for the 360(or any other console) instead of the Wii U I doubt anyone would even think of saying "this is a bad sign". Get a grip people, go back to doomsaying the 3DS while you play your stupid 3DS's.

I'm really not shedding a tear that a terrible game is not coming out. This wasn't like Ninja Gaiden where it was fixable and a much better game came out of it. The only way to "fix" A:CM would be to make the game from scratch.
