Well, it was pretty obvious that the game would eventually come out in Europe like the others did, the anime is still airing and they wouldn't be stupid enough to stop doing something that'll give them money. z.z

That aside, while the 3DS Ogre isn't released, you might as well continue the translation, but Ogre will probably be released eventually, seeing as it's connected to the movie, they released it after the movie in Japan, so the same might be done in Europe... Well, good luck either way.

shouldn't the final one be 1.0

Nah. "Final" is just whatever the last version is... If it's commercial software, 1.0 is usually the 'Gold' version, meaning it's ready to be mass produced and sold. So that convention wouldn't apply here. It's also hard to be sure when you're done something like this. When you're sure you're done, you always find something else that you forgot, and when you're positive you're done, then you notice one last little detail you missed polishing off before. XD

Yeah... I understand your position.
We don't know now if we continue on the DS or not.
But if the game exist, we have 2 options:
- stop the project (I'm not sure if we could perform something without having troubles with law.)
- pick up all sentences in the Spark/bomber 3DS games (with eyes/hands/brains) and put all in the DS Ogre patch.

For now, wait the v0.6 between first and last day of march.

You mean to just lay low for a while, until the dust from the 3DS port settles, then finish the DS project? As long as you finish it, it'd be worth waiting. Either that, or get everybody together to finish it now. :grog:

Nintendo said that this Summer, We will have two versions of Inazuma Eleven 3 for our Nintendo 3DS!
But I think it will be only for Bomber and Spark, so What will happend with this translation?

Ogre was released in Japan after the movie was released, I'm assuming they're planning to do the same over here... For commercial reasons (same reason why they don't release the games until the anime has been airing for a while).

- SOME TARGETS FOR THE FUTURE v0.6 : We continue the work on these goals, enhances out on March 2013, if Level 5 don't release the game in Europe before.
- Videos subtitles : All videos need to be understood, so the subtitles need to be modified.
- Conditional moments in the story : To understand what you must do in the game, all moments, that need something important to do in the story, will be translated. You will not be alone and stopped in the game anymore.
- Hissatsu Tactics descriptions : This is difficult to choose a hissatsu tactic without knowledge of what it do.
- Story: Geniv Team have translated in Italian plenty of textual materials in the story. We need to translate this hard work in English and French to give you the same experience of the game.
- Keyboard: Geniv Team have a translated keyboard, but it is useless with Inazuma mobile codes and other stuff that required japanese keyboard. So we have to search how to code a new keyboard, with japanese codes AND european codes.
- Limitations: We need to solve the Alphabetical list bug.
...
Alright
so for the video subtitles, that might take awhile.
The conditional moments in the story is the blue bar, right? It tells you where to go. That might also take awhile.
The hissatsu tactics may be looked up on the wiki. Unless they're not translated, that is. If you have Japanese people working with you, then they could know the names, and get the descriptions from the wiki.
The story is pretty long, might be completed in the final patch (if this isn't the last one).

Are moves all translated? With there description?

The video subtitles are finished.
The conditional moments in the story are ... in the story. When you need to have a girl in your team, for example, the game say it to you. But with v0.5, it's in japanese...
The challenge for us now is to translate in the story only moments like that, so you can play the game WITHOUT going to a wiki to know what to do.
And the work is done already. We haven't a good english skill enough to perform corrections that all texts need now. So the patch will be provided as is.
All the rest of the texts are blablabla, and even if the story is not translated, the game can be played easily.

We've always said that the story wouldn't be translated (Roxas75 has gave up on that work one year ago)

Descriptions are useless. Big work without any informations in them.
For the rest, just look yourself the patch and you'll see what was already done.

I can say, after thinking, that we are going to stop this project just after the v0.6 version.
I have bought the japanese game for my DS (and i hope you've done so), and i will buy a 3DS when the Ogre european version will be released.
I could reopen this project only if Nintendo say they'll NEVER release Ogre in English.

Ouioui i really apreciate all the work u and your team putted into this translation and as everyone here im kinda sad for this being the last version of the patch. I know you're French and u don't yave all the English domain you would wish to have. I have a request for yiou "f you don't mind it. Could you hand me your translation tools or at least the programs you 'used to translate the story? I know there are approximately 110k of sentences but im a total fan of inazuma eleven, I have the English skill you needed and I have the time and the impulse to do it at least for myself not to publish my work here. So if u could and or if you want could you do that for me? Grammar errirs are very little and I wanna at least finish the story or do the most I can. Im an informatic engineer student so im kinda excited to at least give it a shot. Thanks again ouioui for this 14 months. Keep the good job and farewell till the next translation

After the game's 3DS release, you should translate the DS game using the text from the 3DS version.
I know of a Spanish translation of Super Mario 64 (that didn't have Spanish) using the text of Super Mario 64 DS (which contains Spanish).

Also i found a bug in the game. After the kidou talk and choosing between Inazuma Japan A or B in Hibiki's restaurant in Chapter 1 you have to exit the restaurant, after the Mister K scene and a few texts the screen goes black and the game freezes there. it's like the bug on endou's dream in the prologue. Anyone knows if there's an AP patch for this one?

just change your nds patched file by the original japanese game to pass the bug, save, and change back the nds after.

I can't patch the rom. Is there a specific ogre rom you need? Or is it any rom of inazuma eleven ogre? Didn't there used to be a readme file?

EDIT: I finally figured it out thanks to a post pages back. For anyone that doesn't know. You need to put XDELTAGUI, XDELTA.exe, the patch and rom in a folder called patch in c:\

So you need to put everything here: C:\patch
