The micro SD card does not fit in the 3DS by itself, you know.
Any micro SD card is good. The size of the card depends on the number of games you want.
If you want to play GBA games, you need a Supercard DSTwo instead of an R4.

can i get a explanation on how to
play ds games and the gba
You'll want to buy a product called SuperCard DStwo. (You can get them on Realhotstuff.com)
And, you'll need a mini micro SD card.
The mini micro SD goes into the SuperCard, (which you'll put in the 3DS) and with the two combined, you can play GBA/NDS/GB/SEGA/ roms.

A mini SD card is not a micro SD card.

so i dont need a r4 card to play nds games

You are posting three times in a row. Do not do that. Post once and edit a post if you need to.
You can use any sort of flashcart, as long as it works on your firmware. The DSTwo is the most reliable, gets the most frequent updates, and plays GBA games; get that.

how does it help gbatemp
Uhm. I THINK GBAtemp gets support from advertising. NDScard is a big asset to the 'temp.
so i can use this to play nds games to http://nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=135
Yes! This exactly.

Also, it's best to organize all the games in a folder in your micro SD. Such as NDS folder for DS games, GBA folder for gameboy advanced games, etc

read this for more explanation http://gbatemp.net/threads/the-supercard-dstwo-beginners-guide-how-to-setup-the-dstwo.290190/
