Hacking Just got my 3DS yesterday. Few questions...

I'm a total noob. Do flashcarts work for the 3DS?
I have an M3 Simply flashcart with R4 Wood firmware on it. What would happen exactly if I use it with my 3DS? Few people keep telling me stuff like "It'll brick it" or something.

3DS can't be bricked with DS flashcard nor in any way right now.
And just M3i Zero works on 3DS.

I also got my 3DS (flame red) recently, and i also was scared. People here told me that R4i Gold (i think) and Supercard DSTWO (which can run GBA, SNES, NES and so on.. emulators) and it wont brick 3DS.

I myself have R4 III flash-card and i inserted it into my 3DS.....nothing happened it was like i didn't put anything into my 3DS, like there was no cartridge at all (i thought for a moment that it will brick or something, but nothing happened...)

of course inserting r4 on a 3ds wont brick
the question is after using the r4 and you go to eshop will they brick you or brick your r4?

have you ever tried to go to eshop then update your 3ds software after using r4 (or other flash card) ?
if yes can you pls tell me what happened then?

dont really know what to believe cause upto now theres no concrete proof of a bricked 3ds
however i dont wanna take the risk so i wanna ask if you have went to eshop after using r4 then what happened

nothing wil happen. the worst thing they can do is block you'r flashcard with a firmware update

you should get a r4igold, the r4ids.cn version, or if you can a super card dstwo.
the price you are going to pay for a m3i zero you can buy a r4igold with a 16gb memory card

I know I'm not Xeromus, but I bought a DSTWO Supercard from nds-card.com this saturday. It showed up at the local Post company as being posted yesterday, the Hong Kong one still says that it'll leave Hong Kong soon.
I'm anxious for it, but I know it'll take at least 3~4 weeks.
