What to do on a first first date?

Hey guys, it may be the fact im typing this late, or that im just fucking stupid, but what kind of stuff did you guys do for your first date, and I mean THE First date. Im curisus because instead of hearing it from others who were friggn studs mckick-ass in high school (brothers >_>), I could hear it from other geeky peeps.

Also, im not flat-out asking for advice (Though it is appreciated). I just want to get an idea of how not to fuck up from others mistakes.

My last girlfriend, I don't remember and frankly I try not to. Edit 2 - oh yeah, movie.

My girlfriend before that, I took her to a movie and I kissed her on the cheek when it was over. I was in high school, and that relationship went nowhere.

Current girlfriend, we went out to dinner after work one night, chatted each other up, bitched about how much work (retail) sucks, blah blah and we confessed our feelings for each other. ~$30 and two hours later, furiously making out in the front seat of my car.

Yeah, that day was fucking awesome.

Edit - best tip though is to be polite and be yourself. Don't lie to make yourself look bigger, because if you last longer than the first date she WILL find out. But if you have to put on a different personality to go out on a date, you're gonna have to act like that all the time, otherwise somewhere down the road you'll find she might not like you for who you REALLY are. If that's the case, it's better to get it over with before it even begins.

Don't try to be the super smart guy or the super funny one ( overdo this things will look weird and awkward to her..)

If she is shy, try asking at first, things that you would ask for some cool person that you just met ...them get more intimate little by little
try to understand the surroundings ...if the place is not that private, ask to go somewhere else ...things like that

This are some advises if you really wants to be cautious ..but you can always be more aggressive if you sees opportunities to.

Not really, dating is pretty much the same game no matter what the gender.
By which I mean, there really is no difference in dating whether it's between two people of the same gender or different gender. The intentions and or affection is still the same.

I prefer doing casual things on a first date so I wont get too nervous, usually going out for drinks or maybe lunch or something. I dont know why people would go to a movie theater on a first date, you should get to know your date not just sit there and stare at a screen.

Grab a couple of home movies and maybe have a meal in. Half way through the second movie make a comment like "god, this movie is boring we might as well be having sex." This will be followed by a strange look followed by a shrug or an ok. Spend the rest of the night having sex.

Tip! If you are male try to organise the date at her house. If you are the same gender then it probably doesn't matter whose house.
