I'm getting an R4i Gold soon and I'm not sure if Wood Firmware is worth to install on my R4? what is some of its special features?

It's actually a kernel and the R4i Gold (url on card http://r4ids.cn/) only loads roms through Wood R4 and yes it is worth it.
