Looks rich, these guys really know to push the hardware and if the gameplay can hold the same.

Dem pixels.. The game looks great, but will wait for reviews before buying. Haven't gotten into the previous title(s), but we shall see.

Apparently I had a favorite planetary inspector and didn't even know it! Thanks Shin'en Multimedia for telling me!

Sarcasm aside, it doesn't look bad. Now if only I had a 3DS still....

Why is the 60fps a big deal? Am I missing something?

People get hardons when they say "Well, it runs at 60FPS because it's so powerful."

Quite honestly if the game ran at 30FPS and there was no 60FPS version for comparison or info telling you it was 30FPS you probably just wouldn't notice or care. It's just more of a "waggling my cock" statement than something terribly vital to a game.

60FPS is a good experience but depends on the game if it needs it.

Most games can't keep to 60FPS due to weak ARM11 chips when in 3D mode, some talented devs can work around it. See Mario Kart 7 runs 60FPS in 2d and 3D. Monster Hunter tri runs 45FPS in 3D mode, pretty impressive.

However some platformers can't such as Super Mario 3D Land and Castlevania due to they push somewhat in graphics and framerate suffers. Yes, some devs can reach higher FPS with good graphics like some games have shown.

Looks a ton better than the drab the 3DS eshop gets at the moment. With the 60fps element, yeah it's true the average gamer wouldn't be able to tell the difference but if put side by side there is a world of difference

Or it simply looks better and smoother than 30fps (or less than 30 in a lot of cases on the 3DS). Higher framerates are preferred for me also not just because it factually looks smoother and better, but because a smoother framerate is less strenuous on my eyes (the lower it goes, the more disorienting it gets). As someone who has experienced games at both 30 and 60 frames per second, 60 is ideal to me. 30fps is acceptable, but when 60fps is present i'm always going to choose that. In fact, it's something i'd choose over some extra graphical bells and whistles. Like if my PC can handle a game at 30fps at 1080p or 60fps at 720p, i'm going with 720.

You can easily argue any lack of a point of reference as "not knowing any better". Whether it's higher res textures, more polygons, shader effects, color vs black and white in films, silent vs sound motion pictures etc etc. Games run at a wide range of framerates, some at 60, some at 30 and some even at less than that (like Snake Eater 3D which runs anywhere from 20-25 and even less than that). It's pretty easy to see the difference for some people, even if you can't. It doesn't mean it gives people a hardon when something just factually looks better and smoother. Or in cases like me where the lower the framerate, the more headaches and dizziness involved.

People always cream about Shin'en games and mainly only for their looks. Most of their games are really mediocre titles that are only good for digital release. Just like the first Jett Rocket game.

If only they could get some staff on board who can implement original ideas and also level design that is better than just "functional".

Why did I think of Jet Set Radio when I first saw the title. lol but this does look like a nice game though. Kinda makes me think if they get signed by Capcom to outsource the next Megaman games... I can dream though. The platforms, camera angles and graphics look amazing on this game.
