Some of you who wanted to buy MH3U might have been pretty mad about the fact that there's no off-screen mode and about the online region-lock. Well, worry no more because Capcom finally listened to the fans and newcomers, they will remove the region-lock and add off-TV play with a future update! But not only that but was generous enough to announce that they will support the game for several months and there will be free of charge extra quests to keep you busy! (And that's something from the company that started the On-Disc DLC trend...)
Are you happy with this? And will this change your decision? Discuss!
EDIT: The first challenge will be released on the first day of release and the update will be in April

I'd get this, but god damn the game is just not for me. It's soo frickin hard.
Isn't that a good thing? Trying to find the right weapon and strategy? Although sometimes it just isn't fair with their running away and all.

After playing the demos, it's hard for me to decide on one. I know I'm not getting both.

That's actually one of the reasons I will be getting this ^_^ It's going to be a challenge for me and I haven't been feeling any challenge for quite sometime now and I want to feel it again and see the "Game Over" screen several times XD

Oh okay... Perhaps I should invest in the game sometime. Btw, what do they mean with: "they will support the game for several months"?

By that I mean that they will keep making new quests available for several months after launch.

Capcom shouldn't be praised for doing what they're supposed to do in the first place.
We're praising them for actually listening and not screwing us like companies usually do.

I'm 50-50 on getting it, not having an online mode for the 3DS version is a big no no in my book. Last thing I want to do is end up with another game like Heroes of Ruin, great hype but now collects dust :(

Im glad they removed the reigon lock altho i had no idea it would be so simple to just change it. Makes me hate alot of other games that dont do it.

I don't understand the region lock aspect? Like now this game can play on a korean Wii-U? Europe can play this game anyways despite delayed release? What?
