Hardware Wii Mini Has No SD Card Slot Read

i was just brought a wii mini to mod and since theirs no sd card i can't mod it .. 1 usb port , 4.3u is the menu with no SD card icon and no network settings .. tried using a usb SD card adapter and it did nothing .. the tutorial icon is permanent , theirs no way to delete it .. still has 2000+ blocks of storage. edit: and as previously mentioned no 480p HD .. junk ..

one other thing i noticed is that on the box it has the Opera logo even tho its not there and it has no internet anyway. maybe the LAN adapter works ..

That's probably an odd typo just because even if the internet setting appear when you plug the LAN adapter (or it just ends up working using what would otherwise be the default settings) without the shop channel to download the Opera channel, you're still stuck. At MOST it might give you some online multiplayer options with some games.

It uses a K9F4G08U0D NAND Chip. Tried using a Wii clip to dump it but that thing is too big of a POS, actual soldering should get results, but I am not sure if it's worth the effort since I've read that the NAND is useless because of encryption.

Great pictures, did you take them yourself? If so do you have anymore you could share? Some close-ups, or pictures of the drive board would be great

They should allow the USB ethernet adapter to be able to interact with the Wii Mini. It only makes sense.

it doesn't play wiiware or virtual console. well i'm sure it can, getting them on there is the problem.

You'ld have to find a new exploit to load hackmii off usb...good luck!
I doudt any of the standard variety SD based exploits such as Smash Stack could ever be reprogrammed for this purpose.

I have to wonder if BannerBomb can be repurposed and used through the LAN Adapter, but I highly doubt it. Looks like Nintendo finally figured out how to make a hackproof console: Make it the most useless piece of junk ever by stripping it of 95% of the useful features.
