What isn't this stuff in?
Horse salami.

No but seriously, "horse is so lean you have to add some fatty meat to the mix otherwise the salami/burger/sausage will be too dry" is just an excuse so they could replace 90% of it with pork, the cheap asses :glare:

Get off your high horse.

Oh, completely off topic, but it's bugging the shit out me. So Bronies make crappy "pony" versions of their favorite characters all the time, right? Dr. Whooves, etc.? If you're going to do that, why has no one bothered to make "Joseph Stallion" a thing yet?

Christ, guys, step up your game.

To be fair, horsemeat has been an integral part of many European "national diets" for centuries now and is entirely acceptable. I don't get the whole commotion about this - people are eh-o-kay with adding poultry to what store chains call "hamburger paddies" but when it's horsemeat, that's a big no-no? I just don't get it, horsemean is actually quite tasty.

Its because they withheld the information which makes it seem dodgy.
If they just said it was horse meat, i wouldnt have cared, but thats me. Some people are...different.
I hear people saying: I wouldnt eat horse ewww, but i simply say, whats the difference between that and beef or other meats?

It's really just a matter of flavour. I personally enjoy horsemeat and I don't have any issues with its production and distribution - it's when the production has to go underground because of legal "hurdles" when animals get hurt and mistreated.

I'm in Canada, but I have American Television (Satellite). I have Canadian TV too, and I only saw IKEA commercials on Canadian TV. Not American TV.

I only see ads for Burger King and Starbucks on American TV, but I don't assume that they're only contained in the US.

Plus, Ikea is a Swedish company - it's kind of hard to miss.

Maybe it's because they don't know where the horse meat came from, whether it passed the health inspection, if it was bred for consumption or an old racehorse, or roadkill, or who knows where, and whether it's 20% ammonia, 10% steroids, 12% antibiotics and the rest are intestinal parasites.
