Hacking can DSTwo search cheat on digital game copies?

Sorry if i sound like a noob but would it be possible to use the cheat search on digital game copies like Mario kart 7 coins, fire emblem awakening coins etc? I am still waiting for the flashcart to reach me and appreciate some advise on this.

do you mean can you run a physical cart and somehow use the ds2 to find cheats? i'm asking that because you mentioned mk7, and that is a 3ds game. the ds2 is a ds-mode flash kit, it does not support dsi or 3ds modes. so based on that, the answer would be no. once a cart boots that's it. you can't swap in the ds2 and expect that cart to still function.

it can, however, search for cheats in ROMs running on the flash kit.

The DSTwo can't interact with anything 3DS (no flash cart can), and in fact no flash cart can mess with retail games on the 3DS either because you'd need to swap carts for that, and cart swapping was killed after the original DS/Lite.

i mean i have the original paid version of the MK7 but its not a physical cart its a software digital copy in the console. So there's no way to launch even paid digital copies of MK7 when DSTwo is inserted?

If you launch the DSTwo Mario Kart is stopped, if you launch Mario Kart the DSTwo is stopped, etc.

Just to completely clear this up, DS mode is sandboxed, it has no access to the 3ds level above it
