Hey, guys! I've never bought a flash cart before, so I'm not exactly sure on where to purchase one.
Almost all of the sites I've seen so far have either been
-Out of stock, or
-WAY overpriced.
The only place I've found with reasonable pricing is gamecardsource, but I'm not sure if they are trustable.
Thanks for the help! :)

That's because most gba flash-carts are no longer being produced. If you want to play gba games on a NDS lite, you could search for EZ-flash V 3in1. They're still for sale and are relatively cheap, keep in mind you need to use it with a slot-1 flashcard.

I don't think this site is reliable, just look at the product's reviews. They are all fake, they don't say a word about the product and only say "great seller and fast shipping!" in one way or another.

In that case, do you know any good sites that sell the 3-in-1?

EDIT: Wait, I want a flashcart that works well as a stand-alone.

I really insist that it's better to get the 3in1. It's not much of a hassle using a slot-1 flashcard with the 3in1. You can buy the original R4 for $2 and use the Wood menu on it. Then, all you have to do is copy the gba game to your sd card and play. The 3in1 is just an expansion pack, all the software goes in the other flashcart.

Using older gba flashcarts, bring a lot of problems like having to patch roms, save problems, file size problems, etc... With a 3in1 it's just much easier.

I recommend buying from http://www.zhuzhuchina.com/

The 3in1:

The original R4:
http://www.zhuzhuchina.com/store/r4...r_nintendo_ds_compatible_with_wood_promo.html

It's still cheapier than buying an EZ4! =D

I'm also interested in locating an EZ Flash IV, if anybody has any input. I want to use it on my GBA SP, to play the games normally w/o emulation. Thanks.

I have an ez flash iv with 2gb mini sd and original packaging. Tried putting it on ebay with my gameboy micro but listing got cancelled as it violated their copyrighted materials rules...

I am in London and can send in the UK (perhaps Europe too). Ideally looking to sell it with the gameboy (original box in mint condition + belt case and car charger) for £55 or on its own for £25.

Never had any problems with it, everything Ive tried runs smoothly and Ive barely used it.

Pm if interested.

EZ Flash IV is in stock again now, and you can check at here:
http://ebluar.com/ez-flash.html

Mini SD card is not easy to find out in the market. You can combine Mini SD card adapter with the TF memory card.

EZ flash was out of stock for a while because the factory is busy for producing anther product in its schedule.

Besides, the factory made a bulk deal contract with one EZ flash IV card seller, so, every item of EZ flash IV was put into its warehouse (maybe ebluar, maybe others). That's why there was no live stock in the market for a while.

hai guys, I'm thinking about buying EZ-Flash stuff so I have some questions:

1. Is EZ-Flash best stuff for NDS GBA roms?
2. Which is better stuff for NDS Lite? "EZ-Flash IV" or "EZ-Flash 3 in 1" (and which exactly are difference between two).
3. Anyway to use Ez-Flash IV in my NDSi XL (without second GBA slot)?

thx

whatever, after my research I'm gonna buy EZ-Flash IV is much better for NDS Lite GBA games.

I wonder if in the future will we see new GBA flashcarts being released, like there are new carts released for the NES after 30 years (see Evedrive N8).

Mini SD card is not easy to find out in the market. You can combine Mini SD card adapter with the TF memory card.

I was able to find an ADATA 2GB on ebay for less than 10$.. but it sucked (for DLDI related things)
I found a similar Transcend one on amazon for a little over 10$ iirc and it functions flawlessly.
So I don't think they're totally gone yet.
