Is there an armboot.bin/ppcboot.elf wich can load an IOS and a .DOL file from SD? Kinda like cBoot2 without all the menu and CIOS crap. I guess my goal is to try to use Crazy intro without the need for (Ugh...) Preloader. Any help or info is appreciated.

EDIT: To be clear, i mean to load a normal IOS from NAND, and an .DOL from SD.

Maybe the bootmii can load a homebrew instead of wii menu or homebrew channel but not sure though.

Lol! Nothing's wrong with CIOS (use and created my own), but thats not my goal here (that was the goal of Cboot2, as it only booted IOS35 with a custom kernel patched in memory).
For some reason Priiloader takes 7.5 seconds to load anything on my Wii. It might not sound like much, but its an ETERNITY when booting a console+intro video.IMHO this makes Priilaoder an unviable option for me. I was curious (and wanted a KA intro like consoles past) but I'd stick to bootmii/2 and warning screen edit...

But I know its possible; I've seen custom bootmii/2 binaries that load specific system channels. Ideally, the one I'm after would load an IOS (any IOS) and (virtually) ANY boot.dol in the root of SD.

Maybe the bootmii can load a homebrew instead of wii menu or homebrew channel but not sure though.

It can, but you have to navigate through a menu. Same with Cboot2 (ugly "loading .DOL" message).

Yeah I thought of that too. I might with the one for the wii shop since i dont use it.
A variant I guess would be to use an older bootmii and make my hidden channel "JODI" (i have newest HBC and "JODI compatable" menu 4.1U) and have bootmii autoboot HBC, but that sound dangerous. I'd loose the ability to bypass a faulty system menu DOL/IOS.

I thought you were talking about this:
http://forum.wiibrew.org/read.php?25,16626,47915#msg-47915

The link is dead, and I no longer have the files for it, but if you can find it somewhere else, then you should be able to make it point to a custom channel.

Just a thought, IF BootMii, when set to autoboot HBC, looks through the title ID's LOLZ, HAXX, JODI, etc in a certain order, you might be able to install the DOL into a channel with an ID it would check for BEFORE the one you actually have the HBC installed as and load it instead. I'm not sure if that would be faster or slower than what you're looking for but it MIGHT work.

As a safegaurd, though, you might still want PriiLoader to block autodeletion of HBC.

I've found them on an old SD backup and I've created a hidden channel for you:
http://www.mediafire.com/?gpdga2cmjit1g0g
Use the included ppcboot.elf and "bootmii.ini" files and install the wad. Use the armboot.bin file from your regular bootmii files.

The channel looks for crazyintro.dol, crazyintrovideo.dol, and crazyintrovideo-prog.dol in the root of your SD/USB and loads whichever it finds first. The channel won't show up in your System Menu, so you need to uninstall the wad to remove it (which you should do for custom channels anyway).

Edit: Updated link with working files

Thanks a mill! i will definatly give this a spin when i get the TV to myself. :)

The Same "hello there..." does nothing else. also, the channel was quite visible. maybe bootmii version differances? It does make for a nice console lockout with a taunting message, though circumvention would be as easy as taking the SD out.
