SAY WHAT? Video games are not the reason. Just because they have violence in them doesn't mean that they learn to be violent. What influenced him? The privilege to have access to the guns, yeah.

Democratic senator Chris Murphy says massacre may not have happened if games did not glorify guns and violence.

There are many more reasons how people be influenced of violence, but one thing is that it's not the video games.

Alright, this is just getting stupid. Not only is everyone avoid the real issues again by throwing out every scapegoat in the book This is becoming just plain insulting towards the families for the deceased who now have to deal with these people doing this every day.

And the guy that usually delivers my pizza told me that WoW is the cause of 80% of all abortions.

I mean, who cares that he's not related to any sort of actual research on the matter, it was somebody that said it so I need to repeat it because it's true.

You know.. I'm sorry but they're really beating this thing to death. I don't mean the games and violence thing, that will never die, I mean the Sandy Hook thing. Call me heartless, but I really think that instead of using Sandy Hook as a means to justify your stance that games are bad, is retarded. In short, get over it. Stop living in the past. Move on. You did with 9/11 and I'm sorry but that was 10x worse than the Sandy Hook incident. They're really just using the kids and victims as a means to continue the debate.

As dumb as it sounds, I wish majority of the game developers weren't in the states, come up to Canada, we're not going to blame you for shit. As bad as our Government is, they aren't that blind. I mean shit, few years back some schizo decapitated a dude on a greyhound bus just because the guy was listening to his headphones. The dude chopped off his head and everything and locked himself in the bus with the victim and when police arrived, the guy held his head up. Couple months later, another greyhound incident. Did we blame anything? No, we understood that the people weren't right in the head at all.

Yeah and Pacman promotes cannibalism

Actually girls in porn swallowing sperm promotes cannibalism :3

So movies are fine and dandy?
I love how games get all the attention. If videogames influence ANYTHING it's because the person has severe mental issues that should have been addressed long before that person was able to pick up a gun and go kill people with it.

You gotta realize, Movies already got the flack.

If I recall, it was

TV
Movies
Rock and Roll
movies again
Rap and TV
internet
games.

See a trend? It's never the persons fault.

Will this ever end? I mean come on, put the blame where it really belongs.
The shooters. Everything else after that is just circumstance. The gun being there, being easy to get. It doesn't matter as long nobody pulls the trigger. People need to accept that kids can kill, that they can be dangerous because they do not know nor care about consequences.

The U.S. needs to do something about this. They need... a Battle Royale program. :tpi:
