Homebrew Searching for DS Download Station 9 - Gauntlet demo

I've been searching for this download station for quite some time, hoping to acquire the Gauntlet DS demo so I can tear apart the rom to see how much of the game is complete. Does anyone here posses a copy of this station, or perhaps know of someone who does?

I am well aware that a rom for this download station does not exist on the internet, thus I am asking if anyone owns the physical cart which can then be dumped. It's rather difficult trying to research a simple topic like a lost prototype with backseat moderators such as yourself immediately throwing bright red letters at me.

Thanks, but I've already looked there and am not convinced this rom is present on any site. It may have once existed on megaupload, but you know. Looking at other posts in that thread, people have had this same problem.

its only the first level. we spent time trying to get more out of it when akaio was the first flash kit kernel to support the demo roms. there is nothing else there. i even tested some cheats for the demo but we never could get any of them working.

the rom does exist, to get out gauntlet you just need to extract it and then decompress the file. i've just uploaded the decompression tool to filetrip: HERE.

as for the gauntlet demo, i've used it for a bunch of flash kit reviews and testing. in fact, to this day i keep that demo on my acekard. i love playing it.

there was a time i would reboot ds lites at target and send over my custom download station =) i can't find the recompression tool any longer, it would be nice to see that added to filetrip as well.

Edit: I managed to extract the ROM and test it out and I have just one thing to say.

WHY THE FUCK WAS THIS GAME CANCELLED?

you unpack it using ds lazy. in there are a few files, they are never labeled normally so you often have to decompress them all. once they decompress they will be .nds files. some flash kit kernels support them. akaio does for sure, wood should also. i'm not sure about the rest.
