Hacking IOS 253

For wii Fit Plus, you need ios 253. I installed ios253 with wadmanager. It is OK. But when I start the game you know you can select the IOS, but I can't find the ios 253. Do someone know what I did wrong. Or is there another way to install ios253.

I don't think you understand the wii.

The IOS slots are just memory banks for certain set of procedures. IOS 1 - 80 are usually reserved for Nintendo official ones so when you say IOS 80, we would instantly know it's used for primary functions of the system menu.

However, anything after 100, is completely user controlled. We don't know what you mean when you say you need an IOS 253.

I'm 100% sure if you were to download mod mii, download the wads for D2X (custom IOS) base 57 and 56 designed to install in slot 249 and 250, you will be able to get wii fit working.

I'm pretty sure he meant a CIOS to play it using a backup manager. But you can force the system menu to use a CIOS to run a game not using backup managers.

For newer games you need cios 250 or higher. How do you install the cios?
You know you can select 247, 249 or 250 to start the game. For the game modern warfare I have selected the 250.

Use modmii to sort you softmod out, dude.
Someone gave you some seriously false info about what you need for wii-fit.
Slot 253 does not contain anything normally. Normally this slot does not exsist.
It's up to you, IF you want that slot and WHAT you want in that slot.

It is never mandatory for ANY game.
Slot numbers are just place holders containing the code to run a game.
Depending on what is installed in those slot, determines if you can run a game.
99% of all games can be run if a ( selectable ) slot contains a cIOS that is based of an official IOS 56. ( d2x ). Wich slot ( number )you select does not matter. What is in that slot is what is important.
If you had properly softmodded your Wii, you;de know this.
Selecting a slot containing a proper cIOS will work.
Wii-Fit does not need a special cios in order to run.
D2x base 56 will be sufficient. It's up to you what slot you want to use.
Normally a cios base 56 would be in slot 249.
normally a cios base 57 ( for cod ) would be in slot 250.

ONLY if you have special needs, for testing, a different slot would be advisable.

I think he mistakes "253" for "53" and wants to use a (d2x) cIOS with base 53 in slot 253, because original WiiFitPlus uses IOS53. This is of course not needed for USBLoaders.
