You heard it, the file uploader everyone loved, Megaupload, is coming back.

Basically Kim dotcom just flipped the government off and decided to re-launch Megaupload, this time with faster speeds and guess what, its free.

Anyways go check it yourselfs Megaupload

Incase you are still doubting, here's Kim Dotcom's twitter

So, what are your opinions? Are you thrilled or not?

how long till the fbi shuts it down?
According to Kim Dotcom's twitter post: ''We have won every court battle against the US Govt in New Zealand, Germany & Canada. Time for US courts to follow the trend.''

I don't think the FBI will put a stop now, also according to Megaupload's new rule: ''
In the past, securely storing and
transferring confidential information
required the installation of dedicated
software. The new Mega encrypts and
decrypts your data transparently in your
browser, on the fly.
You hold the keys to what you store in the
cloud, not us.''

They're spelled differently and don't use the same amount of letters?

HyroSama is correct.

No, not you Hyro-Sama.

It's funny because all of this legal stuff has probably gave so much attention to the Mega franchise, they will probably get increased revenue due to increased popularity.

I didn't care when it was shut down, and I won't care now. They always had a lot of ads, a poor download limit and annoying wait times.
If the new site will be better, that's great. But I'm not going to be thrilled by something until I have a good reason to.

You may care more if there is a major push to catch torrenters

... Don't care.

I never liked the first site anyways. There are better sites out there. I will care if it gets shut down again because that way I can have a hysterical laugh and be like "maybe he should just quit and go into prostitution. Kim Dotcum."

How I love this, people with absolutely no interest about the subject of the thread, yet they go ahead and comment.
