Hardware Buying a GBA Flash Cart in 2013

I found my SP 101 and I can't seem to find my M3 Perfect.
So now I need a new GBA/GBC flashcart for it.
Any suggestion where to buy one?

For GBA flash carts, your only real option to find new is the ez-flash IV. All the others have been discontinued a long time ago, the ez-flash IV was discontinued only late last year.
I've got a couple of them and can say they are a great cart.

You can play GBC games, but only via emulation. Some of the early NOR based flash carts could run GB/GBC roms directly when used with an adaptor (the voltage is different and the carts push on a physical switch in the gameboy to switch modes), the vast majority cannot play them directly.


Both the realhotstuff websites list them as out of stock (yet still let you add them to cart). May be worth contacting the store.

I mailed the spanish shop and they have zu cart in stock and send outside of spain when you order via email.

I've been looking all over recently for EZ Flash IV.
So far I've found it on Aliexpress, although you can't really buy it individually at a good price.
I've also found it on Taobao. You can use a Taobao agent and it should cost less than 30 dollars to buy it.

Also I message eachgame.me to see if they're going to be getting it back in stock.
I want to get one before they become really hard to find.

Supercard Mini SD is becoming easier to find now here. I don't know if they improved on it or not but I know it doesn't work as well as EZ-Flash IV especially on more demanding games.
My original supercard SD had a hard time running games like Mario Kart and Super Monkey Ball Jr. It worked okay for Mother 3 but it had slowdown during the rhythm battle system which kinda screwed that up.

Just mail them to ask for shipping price to USA.

I think this is a very good price.
I paid more when it was easy available from dealextreme.

Okay so I found one here. I then contacted the person who runs that store on aliexpress.com and they were very nice and offered to sell me one for 30 USD including shipping. Then they also said they would ship out at gift as well (I'm guessing a cheap R4 or mini sd by the way the person was talking).
The seller has great reviews and as sold the item recently to other people. That is probably the cheapest price with free shipping (even better than realhotstuff). I cannot wait to get mine now!

The people on aliexpress seem really nice too. I found a seller with lots of gba games and I asked them if they could make mother 3 for me. They didn't say no, but they wanted me to buy a minimum order of 200 for 3 dollars each.

When the seller said they would ship out as gift as well they mean they will mark the package as gift, not that you would get a free gift.

Usually when I get things like this from china it's labeled with "Ds Accessory" or "Game Accessory". It's possible thats what they meant but by the way they were talking it sounded as though they were sending it with a gift. We'll see what happens with I get it.
