January Picture Contest
RDBWg.jpg

Hello fellow Tempers! How about that Tempmas, eh? Exciting stuff! We have something else lined up for you this month. Another picture contest to be exact. What do you have to do? Well, that's simple. Post your best photo representing your new year's resolution. Be sure to post what your resolution is along with your photo! I know these instructions can be interpreted in many ways. That's the point. ;)

What's on the agenda for a prize? We have one prize this month. A $100 credit for any purchase on eachgame.me The possibilities are endless, right?! The best photo and resolution combo out of the bunch will be the sole winner.

RULES
Where would we be without rules? amirite?

1. You must have sole rights to the photo. This means YOU own the photo, and no one else.
2. One entry per member.
3. If you are caught stealing photos from anywhere, you will be disqualified from this contests, and any future contest for an undisclosed amount of time. (You're disqualified until I feel like bringing you back, ya butt.)
4. Images must be single frame, single scene pictures. (no animated gifs, no "paneled" images)
5. Deadline is January 31st, 11:59 PM PST
6. Have fun, and if you don't win, please...PLEASE don't throw a hissy. You're not going to shame me into re-choosing your entry as the winner.
This contest has been brought to you proudly in part by:

Egypt 2012.jpg

My New Years resolution? Get off this Camel! No seriously, I used to travel a few times a year, but school has limited my travels to being virtually non-existent. I did take a trip to Cairo, Egypt towards the end of the year. In 2013, I plan to finish my studies and explore the rest of this beautiful planet. 1st stop? Barcelona!!

My New Year's Resolution is to meet my girlfriend for the first time. You see last year we met on here actually. It was about Christmas time, and I was posting in the Steam Christmas trading thread. I had the game Limbo, and was messaged on Steam about it. Something about her just clicked, and I ended up giving her Limbo as a gift. We started talking for a while, played some Beat Hazard, Terraria, etc. It was just a friendship at first, and then one night. We were both outside on the phone, and she helped me find some constellations and I knew it was to be. We're both currently saving up money to visit each other during the Summer. I happen to be in Florida, and she in Texas. Below is an image she made for us, and is part of my avatar. And I posted this post now not just because I could use some parts for a few things, I've been meaning to tell this story. This story is particular is why I am so compelled to be here. Without the Temp we wouldn't have met. Without the Temp I wouldn't have met the girl of my dream. True story.

EDIT: Today's our one year anniversary. 1/21/13

My 2013 New Years resolution is to be better than I was the last.
In a sense, the gym badges symbolizes going through toughness and greatness.
Achieving to be the best and striving towards the future to become important towards family, friends and people.

(I apologize on that if it sounded like a pun/cliche, didn't mean on it lol)

My real life badges :) kicking it OL' SCHOOL!
Kanto on the top and Johto on the bottom. And yes this is MY photo and recent, thus why I watermarked it.

My new years resolution is to cosplay as Ventus (From Kingdom Hearts) at Melbourne Supanova (Pop Culture Expo).
I've already began crafting the Keyblade (weapon).
My picture will be the the final version of the keyblade that has been a work in progress for the last week.

Here is the progress of my resolution becoming a reality.:)

Update 3: Added more detail engraved lines in the middle and tip (Image 5).
Update 4: Added the filling between the gaps of the blade, and made the handle have more depth, and smoothed many things.(Image 6)
Update 5: I added the 1st coat of paint. (Image 7)
Update 6: Added Paint (Image8)
Update 7: Hey! I Finished :D

My picture will be an updated collaboration of the progress.
While I must admit that looks pretty cool, I thought you could only use a single, non-paneled image?

My new Years resolution is to drink more milk.

I was working in an emergency room, guy comes in all shot up.
The X-ray shows two bullets and the arrow is pointing
To shrapnel.

The clavicle is shattered (top bone) No biggie since the clavicle is prone
To breaking.

What's awesome is that a bullet was stopped by a rib. You can see it
Partially deformed. Drinking milk saved this guys life.

Milk, dark greens, and various others, yes. The human body, although essentially a viscus sack, 'flesh failure', can be pretty damned TOUGH, when needed.

Great shot.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
