If i were you i install 6.60 ME (when you have a psp go LME) 1.8.

Becaue the neuer0n is a better Developer than Virtous Flame

and the CFW supports ever Psp Stuffs. When you have a Psp go

you can install the Light Speed. Whit them you can boot your TCFW whit a

icon in your XMB.

But how does that affect their use of the PSP itself?

Like?

Or he could just use the patch that makes his PSP boot into CFW automatically on boot?

btw, isn't it important to say which version psp you got?

because if I recall correctly, there were some motherboard models which couldn't have an automatic booting of the custom firmware. I think Rydian could tell more about this point, because He hid sticky helped me greatly.
and it seems logical that an update from pro-B to pro-C won't have any drawbacks, only improvements, I think.

Just run the PRO installer and choose to uninstall (uninstall the 6.20 perma patch if you have it installed first, the perma patch has it's own uninstall thing as well), then restart the PSP into OFW, run the PRO installer, then run the patch.
Thanks. Its been a while since I did any of this for my PSP.

Yay. Its works thanks everyone. Also by the way does PRO-C have any new features like faster loading times or better compatibility?
the Pro-C 6.60 does
  • Homebrew Compatible - Run your own unsigned applications, both user and kernel mode.
  • Plugin Compatible - Add new features to your PSP via kernel mode background plugins.
  • ISO / CSO Game Dump Playback - Backup your own UMD discs via USB and play them from Flash Storage.
  • 2g+ Memory Range Unlock - Use the previously locked RAM range within your own homebrews.
  • NODRM Engine - Use your bought DLCs, no matter on which PSN account you are currently logged in.
  • PSX Emulator Unlock - Play your PSX classics, yes - all of them. Not just PSN titles

I think wikipedia said you could only play some games if you had at least the firmware required for it.

though I doubt it that with a CFW it would matter, but I am not entirely sure about this one either.

oh and did you perma-mod it? because some psp 2000's could I did read in the Rydian's sticky.

6.20/6.60 PRO-C one new crucial feature along with a few bug fixes, Net-Play feature which will allow users to play Network enabled homebrews over the internet

Yes I could perma mod it on my PSP. Makes me feel fortunate I got a 2k model.
