Billions and billions of stars, with trillions of plants.
0.1% of them is life capable (for example)
That still leaves 1000s of planets that are capable of life or might even already have life on it.
Even microbial life is life, and it's not terrestrial.

Intelligent aliens.
I don't really think so, there's a possibility but it's far more likely we'll discover microbial alien life somewhere in the near future.
After all.
Science doesn't care about whether it's intelligent or not.
