Hello people. I have a question. What is the latest number of Tales of Graces Wii Translation. Is it 0.8?
Also will someone continiue to work on it since i would like to have it finished and PS3 version i cannot play since My PS3 is not hacked and i can only play Tales series if voices are on Japanese. English voices are always terrible when it comes to localizing Japanese games. Only Nippon Ichi Software America localizes good since it has Japanese voices and English text. I hope you people can help me :)

No. Not at all. The quality of English dubs are continually improving because companies like Atlus and Xseed are putting effort in making a good product. If you want bad voice acting than go back to the early 90s.

If you want to play ToGf so bad than just play the PS3 version. I can't see ToG on Wii being translated because a lot fan translators take the policy of stopping translating a game if the game has been announced for a Western release. This is because they don't want to hinder sales, even if in the smallest. And secondly, fan translations can a take a long time especially for JRPGs. I remember the Tales of Innocence translation took about two years to do.

ToGf is a good game. Well worth a play.

Cant speek fot Xseed since i didnt play any of their games and i dont have right to judge them but i can speek for Atlus. Games like Persona series and Cathrine have horrible dubs (Thank god there are Undubs of them). 90s were dissaster when it come to localization. I just dont get is it hard to include dual audio. Its not like there is no disc space. Final Fantasy games in chinese realase have english text and japanese voices but on europian and american they dont. What kind of sense does that make? (expecially for europe). Take Naruto Rise of Ninja for example. they couldnt fit voices on disc so they made FREE DLC. And why did people stop translating Wii version when PS3 one came? Namco will never bring Wii version on english. Wii is easy to softmod so i could get english version (if it existed) and japnaese one (Yes i would rather buy same game twice then listen to horrible dub) and Undub it. PS3 version is undubbed and can be found on internet buy it is pain to downgrade PS3 and hack it. So i would be stuck with bad voice acting. Screw this. I am importing Japanese version rather then english one

As long as the dubs aren't that of Star Ocean 4's caliber, we're fine. British English dubs however, are quite exceptional, such as in The Last Story. We didn't have Whiny-Protagonist Syndrome like in Star Ocean or Final Fantasy X.

Star Ocean 4's was pretty shit. Fortunately crap dubs like that are in the minority.
