I waited so long to have a 3DS and here i am saving some money to buy one.. and i found someone selling his Japanese 3DS and its cheap... i could buy that unit now but if i would buy an English 3DS it would take me months before i can buy one.. the Japanese 3DS has a Free Street Fighter Game and a R4... He is still waiting for reply and Tomorrow i will reply to him so i will visit this poll tomorrow.. Is it worth to buy his unit?

Need more details.

1. Cost?
2. Condition or pictures?
3. If it's a Sulit listing, show it to me.

Edit: Just so you know, I am not even in Philippines

I imported a Japanese 3DS LL. I am extremely satisfied. I am really glad I made the switch.

Of course, the whole set is much better if you actually understand Japanese.

LeomelsonBato, why do you want to buy it right now? Can't you use your R4 on your current DS? If you can't read Japanese why would you buy it? Only because it's cheap and has Street Fighter? There's not a whole lot of games on the 3DS that are import-friendly. You do realize that the 3DS handhelds are region-locked, right?

I bought my Japanese 3DS(es) just so I can play Japanese-exclusive titles like Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai, Senran Kagura Burst, New Love Plus, etc.. Importing Japanese games is kinda pricey, but in my case it is really worth it. Though I am considering of buying a US 3DS some time in the future.

Keep in mind that

1) The whole system (and games) is in Japanese
2) It's generally more expensive

I know that.. and in the PH Japanese 3DS Cost like $100 to $120... and

Yeah i know that it is region lock.. i dont even have a DS... and one of my reason to buy this is to link with my Friend that has DS lite and DSi.. and im not actually buying it i will swap my Slightly Defective PSP 1001 to it... and sell it afterward or swap it with a US 3DS i'll just add a little Cash... and even if you say dont buy it i already do a transaction with the guy and in Dec 27 i will have a 3DS..

Oh cool, if you don't have a DS at least you'll be able to play plenty of new games now, have fun!

i used to have one and the hinge broke then the LCD Broke... i sell it to my friend for $24.35...

Edit:
Yeah before i got my Japanese Aqua Blue 3DS i already got a transaction with someone who want a Jap 3DS because of Love Plus and MH and i will swap my 3DS to his Flame Red 3DS... this is going according to my plan :ha:

Can you understand Japanese?

If yes, then you should definitely get one. Tons of games that haven't been localized.

If no, then don't.

It'd be better to hold off until you can get a 3DS that is in your language. Yes there are a many great japanese games that don't get localized but in the end, a game that is in your own language will most likely be more enjoyable than one that is not.

Japanese games are also more expensive due to import fees.

Although, if you really want to play those japanese games that will most likely never get localized (Senran Kagura for example hehe), then go ahead and buy one, just beware of the costs.

I will be importing a Japanese 3ds at some point in the relative near future because I'll be picking up a few Japanese games in the future, the primary one being SRW UX in March. I wish I didn't have to buy a Japanese system but Nintenduh is a pain in the neck with the region lock crap.
