The release of the anticipated PS3 ODDE will be set back slightly.

The 3k3y team confirmed they will release the ODDE in China first to await the reaction of Sony.
After that they will release it Europe and America.

"The 3k3y for PS3 should be out in January 2013. The team is hard at work trying to get key extaction up and running so that the device will be available for all users regardless of what software version they are on."

Anyway this is pretty exciting news for the PS3 scene, although this dohicky is likely to be expensive --glad my PS3 is kmeawed already

I honestly think it's somewhere around 80-100 quid.
The Xkey is 80 quid so it's likely the 3Key also is 80 quid.
WODE was also 80 quid iirc...

No.
The 3Key team is working on a way to retrieve keys from every system to let the ODDE work with the system.

A "Jailbreak" is a complete hack to install CFW.

First of all.
Be glad that those things exist.
Without it you'd still be buying games or gaming without PSN or even without CFW if you're unlucky.
And getting up and walking across the room to control some "crappy LCD" is also good for your health.
