The other day my roommate asked me if I had any regrets in my life so far. My reply? None, because each experience was a one of a kind event that I've learned from. Perhaps I've been in denial because I do have one regret so far, and that was pushing away my ex. She was in emotional pain and probably needed someone she could count on. Too bad I was too blinded by my own pain to tell. Some of you may recall reading about this in my blogs back a couple years ago.

What use is a kind heart if it is so easily hardened. What use is a well cushioned body if one cannot shield others? I regret pushing someone away who was so obviously in pain and needed a loving friend right then. Well, what's done is done and there's nothing I can do to change that. Live and learn, and hope to God that I can live the rest of my life without making another tally.

So like my roommate, I'd like to ask GBAtemp, "What regrets have you been living with?"

I only got one that i really think about almost everyday.

It's about this girl, she's like my first real/serious crush. We were really good friends and what not, everyone in school were always saying we were bf/gf because we were like always together. Her friends told me that she really liked me, but me and my stupid fucking ass thought they were joking and never "took the chance". Till one day, one stupid fucking valentines day, i so happen didn't think much of that day and some other guy was chatting her up whole day at school. The day after however i mustered up the balls and told her i really liked her, over the phone, but she said that liked me too, but as a friend. When i went to school the day after she was talking to the same guy that chatted her up on valentines day. It may sound as though she never really liked me in the bf way but her friends told me she thought i didn't like her in that way, so she moved on...if only i had bought flowers for her on valentines day or confessed a bit sooner.

Now that i look back on it most people would consider what happened between me and her a break up...but we ourselves didn't even know we were in a relationship.

I've regretted that valentines day about 5 years now, and it still haunts me. We do keep in contact though via fb, but it's kinda hard for me to talk to her like we used to.

The saying, only when it's gone is when we're going to miss it.

Couldn't be more true. Fuck. Time to sit in a corner sipping on bourbon while the silent tears flow.

I have a few major regrets. I was a stupid teenager and I hurt some people because of it. But i'd rather not get into it.
Probably my most prominent regret, was not telling a friend of mine how I felt about her, before she was no longer around for me to tell her.

Regrets or not, I don't dwell on them...or I try not to anyway. I've never been one for sticking to the past, I prefer moving forward. Life is full of decisions, actions, events, etc. There's just no time to waste worrying about what happened, or what could have happened. I'd rather focus on what is happening now. Tragic events are all the more tragic, if you let them drag you down and continue to ruin your life. Same for missed opportunities and the like.

I'm the same way really. Regrets are just unnecessary baggage that's better off left behind. I see most of my mistakes as lessons and move on. Though, my one regret nags at me this time of year. I keep wondering if I should send her a message over facebook. Not a message to try and fix our relationship, just a simple heartfelt apology. I'm hesitant to do this though because I don't want to open old wounds. :/

Technically none. However I did realise I could have made even less effort and ended up in the exact same place, that said food enough to provide the energy to be less lazy was not hard to come by and sleep is boring so I stand by the technically none comment.

Oh FAST, your posts make me smile from time to time. I'm all for the being lazy option too. :D

Not eating more Kraft Lunchables. I loved the stuff, but I didn't buy as many as I wanted, and now they aren't marketed here anymore
Cracker Stackers or...? Cracker Stackers are the shit with the cheddar cheese and the turkey. *Mouth begins salivating uncontrollably*

I wished I realised I loved her before she moved away.
Talking to a girl (while ignoring all given warnings) and afterwards realizing it would've been better to not have talked to her as it wasn't really worth it...

At least I'm not chasing a phantom anymore.

Wonder which is worse...
