Wood R4iDSN v1.55, Real Time Save

Wood has been updated for the R4iDSN. This build finally accomplishes what was once discussed as being impossible, Real Time Saves without an on-board CPU. Currently the feature is to be considered a BETA. It is not available on the 1:1 R4 or the Acekard RPG. There will be a future release which will include support for the R4i Gold, for which hardware version(s) I do not yet know. Please read the included documentation for more information.

Important Distinction
Now, there are so many fake Wood R4 versions which have nothing to do with me. Only Wood R4 for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com), and AK RPG are supported by me. I can only fix bugs for these specific releases. Do not post bug reports or ask for updates for clone cards running a fake version of Wood.

What You Can Expect... So Far

1. There is a high possibility that older RTS files will be incompatible with future versions of Wood.
2. There is no progress bar of any kind.
3. Soft-reset feature is not implemented in the RTS menu.
4. It is not possible to store everything from the DS state, so in some games you will not get any results.
5. Not working with NDSi Enhanced games.

How to Use:

1. /__rpg/rts_menu.bmp and /__rpg/rts_mark.bmp files must exist.
2. In ROM settings you need switch on the RTS feature. After that you can call the RTS menu in-game using the standard soft-reset hot-key.

I am using the one from http://www.r4ids.cn/ on my R4i Gold right now and it's working just fine.

Edit: I tested it and it seems the RTS on the R4i Gold locks up after use.

The R4i Gold team always releases their own build. YWG only compiles builds for the R4iDSN, R4, and RPG.

After 1.55 update soft reset doesn't work. When I select reset in save-load-reset-exit screen, It goes back to game again. Game loading very slow too...

DasheriM, you are right. When RTS is enabled, sof-reset will be disabled.
As you know, V1.55 is just a beta version.

It is even worth getting wood r4 ver. 1.55 considering some people are saying its buggy?

Also i have an r4igold (r4ids.cn) card and its outdated to version 1.4.3 i believe, should i want to update how do i check if mine is the '' c'' version? I don't see any letters written on the packaging or card
